Philips is making strides in ultrasound technology with the introduction of their Anatomically Intelligent Ultrasound (AIUS) tool for cardiac ultrasound, the Philips HeartModel A.I. It offers powerful quantification and high quality 3D views which allow imaging studies to be reproduced with ease. What makes this ultrasound technology intelligent?
Anatomical Intelligence emerges out of a massive digital library of anatomical structure models of the heart. With the help of adaptive systems, Philips HeartModel A.I. can perform lightning fast calculations of the left ventricle and atrium with stunning 3D models. The models change according to the individual patient’s characteristics. As a cardiac ultrasound tool, it takes out operator dependency by offering repeatable results. Not only that, Philips boasts a 3 to 6 time increase in speed of quantification over traditional 2D exams.
